2010 City to Bay Fun Run
It is that time of yearagain!
This week,The Sunday Mail (TSM) officially launched the2010 City to Bay FunRun, to be held on Sunday 19 September. In the comingweeks, TSM will have lots tips and suggested exercises to get you fit and readyfor the event!!
CatherineHouse wouldloveto have all your energy, excitement and effort on the day to helpus in our drive to‘educate women out ofhomelessness’.
Yes,help us to get women and theirfamilies out of the poverty trap, out of homelessness and into a newlife…through a woman’s delight of getting a job, or risking the challenge ofstarting formal study. Over600 women a yearcome into our emergency program; we work with around1,000women a yearacross all program areas.
The City toBay Fun Run will be our major fundraising effort this year, with all moneyraised going to support our education and employment program. The programrelies on the generosity of the community and corporate sector tooperate.
As inprevious years it will be a really fun day, especially the cooked breakfast atthe end! So if you are a beginning walker (3 or 6kms) or an experiencedwalker or in fact a runner…we would love to see you/friends/family/workcolleagues on the day!
