Every year Catherine House is approached by a range of community organisations, corporate bodies, schools and other groups who generously organise their own events to raise funds to support women affected by homelessness. Catherine House very much values this interest, and genuine social response, to assist women experiencing difficult life circumstances.
All funds donated by our benefactors are directed to Sagarmatha, our Education and Employment Program, to help more women be ‘educated out of homelessness’. The program costs over $190,000pa to operate and is 80% funded by support from the community.
Every dollar raised by our benefactors goes directly into the operational costs of running the program, and therefore critical to ensuring the ongoing successful outcomes that the program achieves. We welcome you to partner with us in changing lives!
